It's time for spooky season! As the weather cools we’re just heating up with some awesome promotions and events including another holiday case sale, a new monthly crafters group, and our first ever Pumpkin Party!
THANKSGIVING CASE SALE - OCTOBER 6th to 9th
Thanksgiving Weekend means another long weekend case sale! We're offering $15-off flats of mix & match four packs. We'll be starting this case sale on Friday, October 6st so you can stock up for the long weekend, and will keep it going all weekend long!
IT'S KNIT! DROP-IN CRAFTERS GROUP - OCTOBER 15th
Join us Sunday, October 15th 6-8PM at Small Gods for the first meeting of the new It's Knit crafters group. This monthly event will be hosted by Drop-in Writers Group regulars, Meg & Evey, and is an opportunity to chat, learn, share, and connect with your community while you knit, crochet, embroider, or mend.
It's Knit! will be held on a Sunday, mid-month every month, joining the Small God's Book Club on the Small Gods roster of monthly events.
BLOOD ON THE BREAKWATER READING - OCTOBER 22nd
Vancouver Island author Jean Paetkau is reading from her murder mystery Blood on the Breakwater, a story of deceit and death set on our beautiful island. There will be books sales and signing in addition to the reading.
BOOK CLUB, 8TH EDITION - OCTOBER 25th
The meeting for the seventh book in the Small Gods Book Club will be held to discuss Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel. If you're interested in taking part please sign up by getting a FREE ticket HERE.
PUMPKIN PARTY - OCTOBER 29th
We are extremely excited to announce our first ever Pumpkin Party this coming Sunday, October 29th – where we take the pain of carving pumpkins off your hands and leave you with the fun. CLUBS & GROUPS
Our Clubs & Groups will be going strong all winter long, featuring:
- Small Gods Run Club on Tuesdays, 6PM – 8PM
- It’s Lit! Drop-In Writers Group on Wednesdays, 6PM – 8PM
- Full Deck Games Night on Thursdays, 6PM – 9PM
As a reintroduction to our Full Deck Games Night, we have refreshed the games shelf with both classic games like Scrabble, Crib, and Yahtzee, as well as contemporary classics like Ticket to Ride, Raccoon Tycoon, and Cascadia.
GROUP BOOKINGS & PRIVATE EVENTS
We know finding a cost-effective place to host your event can be challenging. As Sidney’s “community living room,” that is where Small Gods comes in. We offer a variety of booking options, from no-rental-fee group bookings to low-minimum-spend private event options.
Available year round at any time we are open for groups of 7 - 30 guests, with no-minimum spend commitments, standard food & drink menu with counter service. From October through March, our taproom is available for private events on Monday evenings for groups of up to 65 guests between 5PM & 10PM (Maximum 4HRS) for a $2,000 minimum spend commitment.
