The fun at Small Gods Brewing continues this February. We're extremely excited to announce the launch of our Saturday Sessions live music nights as well as some other awesome events and features you won't want to miss!

Saturday Sessions ft Alyssa Jean Klazek - Feb 4: 6PM - 9PM

Small Gods Brewing is proud to announce Alyssa Jean Klazek as our first ever Saturday Sessions performer, who will be doing two 45min live acoustic sets, one at 7PM and another at 8PM. 

Alyssa Jean Klazek was born and raised in Calgary Alberta into a family of musicians. At an early age she started writing music, singing and playing guitar. At 17 she made it to the top 18 on Canadian Idol. Alyssa joined many touring and recording music projects and was in a corporate cover band called the Dino Martinis.  Alyssa's music genres vary from Lady Gaga, the Mama's and Papa's, the Pixies and Haim. 

Bowl On The Low - Feb 12: 3PM - 9PM 

Looking for a low-key family friendly spot where you can keep an eye on the game while also entertaining your loved ones? We've got you covered. We'll be playing the Big Game on our 65' bar screen without the sound for a best of both worlds experience.

To commemorate our first ever Bowl On The Low party we'll be launching our brand new premium lager Owl's Song, brewed with 100% Idaho Pure malt which will be on special all day every day for just $5 in our 420mL pints sold only on tap at the brewery as a way of saying thank you to everyone from Sidney who has supported us over our first six months of operations. We know times are tough right now and a budget friendly beer is always a welcome addition to any local menu. On top of that, Chef Jenn will be cooking up her incredible Small Gods wings as the kitchen feature of the day. 

Singles Social - Feb 14: 6PM - 9PM 

While everyone else is out clogging up restaurants and spending a fortune on dinner, we are opening our doors for another edition of Singles Social! This no-pressure hang will possibly introduce you to a new friend, potential roommate, dog-walking buddy, or partner.

If you're up for it, you could also join the Small Gods Run Club for a jog around the town before settling into a beer after, or just come hang and enjoy $1 off our brand new Strawberry Hibiscus Sour, which pairs perfectly with Chef Jenn's Strawberry Hibiscus Cheesecake. In addition to that we'll be featuring $1 off mains all day long, as well as $6 Pilsner & $6 Pretzels after 6PM. 

Family Day Pizza Party - Feb 20: 11AM - 9PM 

Although our winter hours have us closed on Mondays, we're opening our doors for all those families out there! To celebrate Family Day, we've re-stocked the kid's book shelf, added a few more family-friendly games to the games shelf, have a non-alcoholic Shirley Temple cocktail special that we can spike for the adult kids in the room. Not only that, but we have Sicilian Square "Grandma Slice" pizzas with a meat and a vegetarian option while supplies last! 

Saturday Sessions ft Tyler Johnson - Feb 25: 6PM - 9PM 

The second performer in our Saturday Sessions series, Tyler Johnson will be gracing us with two 45min sets, one at 7PM and another at 8PM. Tyler Johnson is a guitarist and songwriter based in Victoria, BC. He was inspired to pick up the guitar after hearing his father's record collection at the age of 12. Currently, Tyler can be seen performing in a local band ("Second Fiddle") and as well as solo-artist in here on the South Island.

CLUBS & GROUPS

SMALL GODS RUN CLUB - TUESDAYS: 6PM - 8PM

Enjoy the best kind of beer run with the Small Gods Production Team every Tuesday evening. Runners will meet at the brewery at 6PM, run around Sidney, and return to the brewery before 7PM to enjoy $1 off our newest beer with Small Gods Head Brewer Jonny Kostiuk & Head of Operations Gonzalo Arizcun. IT'S LIT! LITERARY NIGHT - WEDNESDAYS: 6PM - 8PM

On the 1st, 15th, and 22nd we'll be hosting our Drop-in Writers Group. Dedicate some time to focusing on your passion project. Bring your laptop or your notebook, grab a glass of white wine or a beer, and get writing!
